Shad is why I haven’t lost total faith in hip hop. There are still brothas out there doing it real big; education over exploitation. I’ve heard it termed “nerdcore” hip hop. Whatever, it’s positive and to quote another user:

I prefer my music with talent and meaning, not some b****it incoherent dribble about “licking a lollipop”, or a very very poor attempt at rock singing about the prom queen and her “fancy underwear”.

Looking forward to the day when the above is mainstream again and the current radio rotation politely vanishes…forever.
