Don Mecca aka The Red Stallion brings us two tasty gems.
The first is ClassicCloseouts. The moment you hit the homepage you want to grab for your wallet. Seriously, the prices on the merchandise are amazing and the store looks completely legit. Sure, most of the mens clothing is old school stuff and mainly consists of Members Only paraphernalia (like the jacket pictured), but who cares; the 80’s is the new awesome! There are great deals for men, women, kids and home. Shipping is free if you buy more than $40 worth of merchandise. If you’re looking for some good deals all around, consider this store in your search.
The next - and absolutely most awesome find - is Replica Business Center. I’ll be honest, when I first went to the site, my first thought was “oh snap, shady!”. But then, I read their payment policy and was like, “oh snap, SHADY!”.
The prices on the clothing and shoes is absolutely mind boggling. Complete “replicas” of brand name shoes and clothes for hundreds less. I like that they make no qualms about it either. I’m not so sure how it all works and I’m skeptical to find out. However, I am in desperate need of some new shoes and jeans. If you are feeling adventurous, go ahead and give it a try, but don’t get all pissy with me if things don’t work out.

New tshirt from So Softies. Took quite a while to get here, but I’m happy it finally arrived.
Thanks bud!

A few nice shirts/hoodies over at Mishka. I’m diggin’ the striped shorts too, but sadly they are little too hipster for me - pants legs are too skinny. Not all of us are ultra thin coke heads! Sheesh.

My wife is so talented. She can make pretty much anything…except mens clothes. So I’m forced to wear capri’s and low neck, spaghetti strap linen shirts. I mean, it’s bad enough I’m starting to grow man brush on the chest, but to show it to the world - and in womens clothes - is just wrong.
Thankfully my wife’s pursuit is not wasted on the likes of me. From hand bags, to quilts to childrens clothes Rashida can throw down like a serious professional. Her bag above was recently featured on the blog Sew,Mama,Sew!.
I’m hoping that in the near - like really soon - future all this press convinces her to open up shop and gift the masses with her talents. Pray that she gets the confidence boost - and door opener - she needs to see the fruits of her labor enjoyed by others world wide.
Drop in, say hello and tell her what you think.

The shirt says it all.
If you follow the WWDC like a right winger follows Fox, you’ll undoubtedly have been thoroughly dissappointed with this years keynote. Much like Fantastic Four:Rise, this keynote left everyone wanting more and wondering, how does Jessica Alba keep getting work? Well, not necessarily, but I couldn’t stay focused for a minute during the keynote, so I had to think about something.
Clearly Steve had nothing to talk about; he already played his ace card last year (iPhone). I mean what could he possibly do to trump that? They tried to bring the hype but it just wasn’t happening. Yea, the iPhone is coming; woopie, Leopard will have a reflective dock; whatever, Safari now available for Windows…the list goes on. For a moment my heart skipped a beat when Steve brought up Finder. Could this be, did they finally add real features? Does finder now force refresh a network directory? Will it automatically update once I create new folders/files? When I sort by type/date modified/name will it treat the folders like separate elements instead of sorting them with the files? Can I see the file path in a window and be able to copy it to the clipboard? No. They chose to make it look like - wait for it - iTunes. At that point I was completely fed up. So, seriously, how does Jessica Alba keep getting work?
Wear this shirt with pride. The WWDC for 2007 was indeed the worst…keynote…ever!
