I took a look at my site in Safari and well, a few things are off…bummer. Sure it’s just little things (a pixel here and there) but it still urks me.

If you get a chance, try Firefox. Better browser in general and the latest iteration is very well done. Anyway, just thought I’d put it out there…get Firefox.

Ah, it’s been a while hasn’t it? Well, the blog is back again. New look and hopefully more timely posts. Work has been consuming my life lately. I hope I can find some time to throw down a post or two.

Low-key, more open, spacious…whatever, it’s just good to be back.

Chris sent me some teaser pics of the prototype bike and I have to say, it’s looking extremely nice. Can’t wait to get mine.

No more weekend rides. My Azuki Century decided its time had come and gone. The threading on the bottom bracket was finally stripped after a little over 30 years of usage and just about 5,000 miles from me in less than a year. I had a chance to see a great deal of NYC on my bike and met a lot of cool peeps into the same thing. What is most gratifying is that my Azuki and I were able to get a good deal of friends and coworkers back on their bikes.

I feel like my time with Bikey - as she was called - was short-lived. Not much I can do now except wait. A new ride is on the way thanks to Chris, so my mourning may be over soon, but there is nothing like your first time.

After the news of my bike, my phones - all three of them - decide that being usable is not something they want. Two of my phones have dead screens and the third refuses to charge. I could fix the issues with the screens if I had tools, but I don’t. Does this mean an iPhone is in my future? With 4GB phones selling for $299 and refurbished 8GB phones selling for $350, it is a very tantalizing possibility. Trying to convince my wife of this is another issue.

“We movin’ on up in the world like elevators.” I’ve decided to make the move from - as some people have coined it - boutique to agency. Funny how things turn out over the course of over two years.

In early 2005, while in Orlando, Florida working for Starwood, I would have never imagined I would be where I am. From marriage, to kid(s), to career it has been one helluva ride. I’ve never been scared of what’s coming next; God didn’t instill that fear in me. Instead I approach each new turn - each step up - as a chance to further myself and lay that foundation for my children to springboard from.

Speaking of the new opportunity, my family was recently here and we were talking about the “next” next move. They are convinced that it needs to be back to Northern California. We’ll see what the future truly holds but for now it’s all about NYC!
