New mix up from Tyler Askew and Big Bang: MFT001. The recipe: smooth neo-soul + jazzy beats + chill hiphop; mix for a little over an hour; enjoy the delicious eargasm.

Props to the guys over at Rude Movements for keeping the tunes fresh and the downloads free. Word.

So today makes the third “accident” I have had. I was riding straight, the van in front of me decided to make an illegal u-turn on a one-way street, I face plant on side of van, then somehow or another end up on my back in the middle of the street. I have discovered the three most invaluable pieces of protection for riding on the streets. This is by no means a scientific evaluation as much as it is about my own experiences.

what can brown do for you?

ups_drivers.jpgI just made a startling discovery, UPS drivers make more than me. In some cases, much more. Sure one could argue that it’s tough work, but I’d be more open to that than sitting around in front of a computer for 12hrs a day. Some heavy lifting here and there and the occasional rude person, but no desk, no office, no ad specs and no actionscript. Sounds like heaven!

Include the added bonus of face-to-face social interaction - often times meeting new people almost always - and you’ve got the fixin’s for an interesting job. While it may not sound as glamorous as saying you work for “___x___” agency, it does pay quite well, has excellent benefits and you get a free company truck…that’s brown…and full to capacity. Whatever, sounds like a cool job to me.

Who’s up for a career change?
